30 Day TV Challenge, Part 2
Day 19: Favorite Christmas Episode
Regional Holiday Music, Community
This episode is special to me for several reasons. First of all, it did Glee better than Glee does Glee (Just look at the wretched Christmas Episode of Glee that aired in this same season). I can’t watch Glee anymore without giggling and thinking of this episode. After all…”Everything is better when the camera is spinning!”
Mainly I treasure this episode because it was the last one before the AWFUL hiatus and I live tweeted the whole time with my Twitter Study Group of Communies, all of whom I love and hold very dear, even though we’ve never met. We laughed. We practically broke Twitter with all our trending topics. And then we cried when the Study Group showed up at Abed’s singing Christmas Carols. And then we laughed again with The Carol of the Bells tag and Merry Changmas. And then we bonded together even more through 13 horrendous weeks where the fate of our beloved show was unknown. It was truly a night I will never forget, and I will always think of it when I watch this episode.
“We’ll see you all after Regionals…”
Indeed.
