How long does it take for Jeff to become less of a douche? Because, I just finished the first two episodes, and I’m having a hard time finding it funny because he just hasn’t developed into a decent character yet. I know that, in the overall the show is supposed to be hilarious and I really don’t want to give up on it just yet, but the first couple were sort of sticklers if you know what I mean.

If there is one thing I know, it is that Jeff will always be a self-serving son of a bitch.

But the great thing is, he actually does grow. By the end of the first season he’s still not a different person, but he is a better person.

He’ll always take the shortest path to greatness. He’ll always make speeches that emotionally manipulate the hell out of people. But he learns to use his powers for good.

Plus, you HAVE to stick around to see him and Shirley become besties. Their friendship has created some of the best moments in Community history.
